Soft blends of rose pink and apricot orange float across the canvas in gentle, organic sweeps. There are no solid forms just ethereal curves that dissolve at the edges. Areas of richer, darker pigment drift lazily amongst the pale washes as fingers of colour reach and embrace in the abstract union, forming intimate shapes that ebb and flow together in dreamlike harmony. An overall mood of calm serenity pervades the work. Separate from earthly cares, the mingling hues hover alone yet together, bound only by their ephemeral stuff. It is a place of relaxing respite, where each finds fanciful company only with their luminous thoughts drifting "on a cloud of our own”
