Picking up the Threads 1

Hot pink stretches down the canvas beside turquoise and green, with flashes of orange at the edges. Pale washes soften parts of the surface, while black curves and tall brushstrokes remain visible beneath and between the colours. Fine white drips cross these layers, drawing the eye down through the painting.

The work suggests a conversation picked up where it left off. Some marks are clear and immediate, while others are partly covered, still present but making room for something new.
